My Don Quixote series of sculptures was inspired by memories of my father (1920 – 1999).

I have completed 5 studies which represent traits and moods he shared with the Man From La Mancha:

The Great Reader (Sitting lost in thought) SOLD
The Great Adventurer (Looking to the distant horizon and adventure) SOLD
The Great Protector (Strong and silent, standing his ground) SOLD
The Great Fighter (Mounted on Rosinante fighting life’s battles) NOT FOR SALE
The Big Don (The old guard facing new technology)

The Giacometti-inspired style represents my father’s physique: tall, fit, elegant but wiry – a body honed by a hard life. A man I admired and loved and miss very much.
